Each week, Karen chooses her favourite five items from the Verde Store - we want to show you new things, things we are loving and things we think you shouldn't be without. This week's selection includes some beautiful and practical items - a mantra that is close to our heart!

Beautiful Boucle Sitting Bench

This beautiful boucle bench would be perfect at the end of a bed, or the entrance, hallway, and dining space. Its a lovely cream colour, not bright white, and very durable. For character, add decorative cushions or a subtle throw. Come and have a look before I take it home (rather tempted!) 

Shop in style with French Market Baskets

These wonderful handwoven baskets come in two styles – ones with short and long handles and ones with just the long handles. I love having two handles to choose from. These handwoven baskets are very durable, with naturally oiled, brown leather handles that can be worn as a shoulder bag or held in your hands as an everyday basket. Woven from palm leaves, these baskets are a perfect sustainable alternative to plastic shopping.

Woollen Felted Laundry Dryer Balls

These eco balls are great to throw into the dryer with your clothes. Especially absorbent, these energy saving felted wool balls are ideal for soaking up the moisture from your fabric as they bounce throughout your dryer, separating the various items and creating airflow. Our favourite wrapping paper is back in store, with a print for every occasion. These are great quality, Australian designed and made printed using green solar energy on ethically sourced paper stocks.  These aren't online yet as they go so fast and change so quickly but should be soon!

Australian made dinner candles in a great selection of colours

These hand poured, unscented Dinner Candles have a diameter of 2 cm and a height of 30 cm and are made from vegetable stearin using natural dyes and a braided cotton, lead free wick. The result is a hard wearing candle with a clean, long lasting burn. Perfect paired with our candle holders to create an eye catching centre piece or home decoration. Plenty in stock.
