A Year in the Life of Beth Chatto's Gardens - Fergus Garrett
Regular priceSale price
In 1960, when Beth Chatto began creating her garden in an overgrown area in Essex, she was presented with challenging conditions including silty bogs, woodland and drought-stricken conditions. By applying principles of ecological gardening, she searched carefully for plants which would suit each of these conditions. The resulting gardens were a triumph and have been beautifully photographed (by Rachel Warne) for this book.
