Enjoy a delicious bowl of your favourite, nourishing soup from this rustic, hand made soup bowl.
This traditional South American cookware, made by families in the Andes, Columbia, has been used in food preparation, cooking and eating for centuries with the origins traced back over 700 years with pitchers and vases discovered in various archaeological sites.
These bowls are still made in the traditional manner from coarse dark grey clay with a glazed terracotta finish. The surface has been polished with semi-precious stones which give a natural patina to each piece. Each piece is traditionally moulded by hand which ensures its uniqueness. Minor variations in colour and size is typical of these handcrafted bowls.
Safe to use in the oven, on the stove, under the grill or in the microwave. This bowl can also be used over direct gas, on the BBQ and even over an open fire.
